The State of Maryland assigns a Tax Identification number to every property. There are certain situations when you need your property Tax Identification Number. Fortunately Maryland makes it easy to access the Tax Identification Number. Below we take you through the process.
Step 1) Start at the SDAT website. Select your County and click “Street Address”. Then enter the number and street name. Be careful not to enter the street name suffix (Road, Street, Avenue, etc.). Click on the Search button.
Step 2) Once your property page opens up, locate your Tax Identification Number by looking at the top of the page next to "Account Identifier".
